WHAT'S NEXT?

Terry Brooks is one of those writers who isn't happy unless he is working. At all times, he is writing--whether it is at the keyboard or dreaming what he's going to write once he sits back down at his desk. It's the reason he has written so many stories.

To that end, it also means he is usually ahead of his publication schedule. Here is a look at the immediate future:

• SEPTEMBER 11: The Original Shannara Trilogy Trade Paperbacks

2025

• Q1: The Elf Queen of Shannara Special Edition
• MARCH 11: Galaphile, Book One of The First Druids of Shannara

Terry has completed Galaphile and it will publish March 11, 2025. He has finished writing the first draft of Book 2 of The First Druids of Shannara series. More detail on that project coming soon.
